The LLC Attorney team is here to support entrepreneurs like you and to fuel your success. If you have an idea for a new business and you’re eager to make it a reality, this competition is for you.
Judging Criteria
Applicants will be judged based on the creativity of the idea, growth potential of the business, and projected impact on your community or market niche. To enter, submit your business idea and make it clear how you stand out.
What You Can Win
First-, second-, and third-place finalists will receive a trip to Puerto Rico for the final Pitch Day and will receive cash prizes collectively worth $37,500. Other winners will receive an array of prizes, as well.

Cash Prizes
The top 3 winners will receive the following cash prizes (US dollars) (equity-free) to help launch new businesses:
- 1st Place: $25,000
- 2nd Place: $10,000
- 3rd Place: $2,500
Startup Guidance
The top 10 winners will receive complimentary business registration services from LLC Attorney as well as consulting services from LLC Attorney and various sponsors.
Other Prizes
The top 10 winners will also receive other types of prizes from LLC Attorney and our sponsors. Plus, winners will be named in categories ranging from Most Innovative to the Greenest and the Greatest Social Impact.
Pitch Day in Puerto Rico
The top 3 finalists will be flown in for our not-to-be-missed Pitch Day event. Pitch your idea to our judges in sunny Puerto Rico while generating buzz for your startup.

Qualifications
- You must be at least 18 years old and have an idea for a new business.
- Your business must be pre-revenue, and you must plan to register it in the United States.
- Your business must not have received any other funding prior to the competition.
- Your application must be received no later than 11:59pm Eastern Time on December 1, 2024.
- Only family-friendly, inclusive business ideas will be accepted. To see the types of businesses not eligible for consideration, read the terms and conditions.
What Happens When I Apply?
Fill out and submit the application form. Please be prepared to share information on your new business idea and why it’s such a standout concept.
If you qualify, a team member will be in touch with confirmation and any clarifying questions. Our judging panel will then get to work in reviewing all qualified applications.
Our judges will select the top 10 winners, who will be featured in the LLCAttorney.com website and in other online promotions. Fan voting for the top 3 finalists will start at this time.
The top 3 finalists will be flown to Puerto Rico for Pitch Day, where the 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winners will be announced. Singing, dancing, partying, and other mayhem will be optional (but highly encouraged!).

Correct, the competition is for new business ideas. The competition is open for those who would like to launch a new business, but have not yet registered the business.
Applicants can be outside of the U.S., but should be planning on registering the new business in the U.S.
Winners will be judged based on the creativity of the idea, growth potential of the business, and projected impact on your community or market niche. Judging for the top three awards will be 50% based on fan voting and 50% based on the pitch competition on Pitch Day in Puerto Rico.
Prize money may be considered taxable income. We advise you to consult with your CPA or tax advisor.
Only one application per person or team. So, give it your best shot with your top business idea.
Pitch Day will be in January 2025. The specific date and other details will be announced in the near future.
